1. MAKE: Date Bonbons
I have been making these chocolate covered dates for years and I try to experiment with new combinations/flavors every so often. My OG method is to stuff a date with peanut butter (I prefer chunky) and then dip in dark chocolate and top with salt! My new version is a date stuffed with 4 coffee beans then dipped in dark chocolate and topped with salt and cardamom (seen above). I like to use my favorite Toketee coffee from Sightglass. To make, gather your ingredients: dates with their pits in, chocolate, coffee or nut butter. It’s important to use dates with their pits still in because it makes for a softer treat that is easier to stuff. Remove the pits and calyx (remainder of the stem) of the date. Fill with 4 coffee beans or a spoonful of nut butter. Squeeze together and then dip in melted chocolate! Sprinkle with salt and cardamom while still warm.

2. READ/LISTEN: The Compound by Aisling Rawle
I am almost finished listening to the audiobook of The Compound. I LOVE the narration and highly recommend the book. It is about a group of 19 people competing in a reality show on a remote desert island - someone called it Lord of the Flies meets Love Island.
